Using the DominoLund-blog

- Anyone can write comments, just go to the site dominolund.wordpress.com and make a comment.

- To use the blog to write your own texts/stories etc, you need a username.

Getting a wordpress-username

- Go to the wordpress homepage to register.

- Fill in the information and at the end of the registration you can click the box saying that you only want a username, and not a blog.

- You will recive an e-mail to the address you specified in your registration. Follow the link in this mail to activate your account.

- Now you have a wordpress-account!

- Now make a comment on this [be a DominoBlogger] page, using your new wordpress-account, saying you want to be added as a DominoBlogger!

Adding your pictures to the DominoLund-album

- Anyone can look at the pictures in our album.

- To add your own pictures, you need a username with www.flickr.com

- This is because on flickr.com we can have as many pictures as we want, no limit!

Getting a flickr-username

- Go to the flickr homepage and click to ‘Create your account’.

- Fill in the information and like with the wordpress-username you will have to activate your account by clicking a link that you recive by e-mail.

- Now, when you have your account, you can upload your pictures to your own album.

- Then you only have to link them to the DominoLund-album, so that everyone can find them.

The dominolund-group on flickr

- Go to www.flickr.com/groups/dominolund and click the link to ‘Join This Group‘.

- Now you can click the other link on the page of the group to include new images to the group.

- You get to choose from your own album, which images you want to show in the dominolund-album.

- Remember that everyone can see these images, not only members but everyone. So be a bit selective with the images you put in the group.

    Hi Joakim
When you add pictures on flicker, how do you do them in a gallery and how do you link the gallery to the blog?
    See you!

      Hey Xavier,

as you can see in the explantion on this page what you do is that you add the images from your account to the group-pool http://dominolund.wordpress.com/be-a-dominoblogger/www.flickr.com/groups/dominolund here and then it will be included in the list of images shown on the web-page.
The reason it is like this is so that an unlimited number of accounts (including the general account for DominoLund) should able to show their images.
So you can not have multiple groups connected to the image-viewer on the blog, and this isn’t nessacary ether.

      greetings.

I’m gussing that the photos you’ve added are on flickr, and that you added them to the group-pool(?)

It takes 5 days after you’ve created your account and filled it with atleast 5 photos until the flickr staff reviews the account and “clears” it.

It after this “clearing” of the flickr staff that the images show up on our blog in the right hand menu.

      Hope this helps.
