Wednesdays 12.10 pm : -Mass followed by lunch. Evelina 070-565 24 29

Tuesday April 20th at 7.30 pm : - Taizéprayer and gathering. (every 1st  and ^3rd Tuesday/month)
The 20th after prayer we´ll go out and have a beer together.

Sunday April  25th after 10 am Mass in St Thomas Church (like 12 pm): - Lunch and program

Monday April  27th at 7 pm:  -Reading of Gospel of Luke and talk (every 2nd and 4^th Monday/month)

Retreat MAY 28th to 30th: ” Meeting with other faiths”

The last weekend in May we´ll have a retreat in Rögle kloster - with a program:  DIFFERENT EXPERIENCES OF MEETING WITH PEOPLE OF OTHER FAITH:    br Paolo on meeting with muslims,  sister Sofie on meeting jews in Jerusalem, br Bernard on meeting with bouddhists in Japan…..

how come that we can believe that Jesus Christ is the saviour of all creation? Are the others wrong? Or how can we meet we the truth of the others?   – very actuel matters!   What does it mean to be an openminded person and yet have a specific faith?

Introductions, talk in smaller groups, walks, singing,  prayers, meals…   Xavier and Stefano are preparing program, tell them if there is something.

Bookmark this weekend Friday evening to Sunday afternoon. The reduced price, thanks to BILDA will be 300 SKr/person.

SPRINGTIME – walk this Saturday?

Welcome to Rögle convent for Easter

Hello everybody,

Here comes the schedule for the easter celebration at Rögle convent. Welcome to celebrate with us! Br Björn will be staying at Rögle, and will organize any planning. If you want to come Thursday for the meal and/or stay over Easter Saturday to Sunday and have lunch Sunday, please contact Br Björn. If you just want to come for the services, you do not have to tell in advance, it is open for everybody, but it might be nice to do so anyway if you want to come together…

I post all the services below, with the specific easter liturgy marked in bold:

Thursday:

07.45 Laudes
12.10 Midday prayer
18.00 Mass (with foot washing), followed by a meal in silence (reading of St John’s gospel). Adoration until midnight.

If you want to participate in the meal, please let Br Björn know before Sunday March 31st at latest. Cost: 60 kr.

Good Friday:

08.00 Tenebrae, followed by Laudes (with the dominikan brothers)
15.00 Good Friday liturgy
20.00 Compline

Easter Saturday:

08.00 Tenebrae, followed by Laudes (with the dominikan brothers)
17.30 Vesper
22.30 Easter Vigil, Mass of the Resurrection of Christ

Easter Sunday:

09.00 Laudes
11.30 Mass
17.30 Solemn vesper

International Prayer Day on Friday

Hey all, you are all invited to attend the international prayer day at saint Thomas church on friday March 5th at 19.00. I (christina) will be there to give a small talk about the international prayer day in Cameroon after which I will sing a few songs to the glory of God. We read the Gospel of Luke

Yes, we´ll continue to do that this coming Monday Feb 22nd 7 pm- and then every 2nd and 4th Monday/month. If you never participated in such in thing, you can´t imagine all the things there is to discover in only a short little tiny history of teh Gospel. This time we continue with chapter 5 and then we see how far we get, yours, brother Björn

A Day Together

Hi, tomorrow Saturday we´ll be like 12-14 going on our tour to Halmstad on invitation by the youth and studentgroup of the Catholic parish – we´ll meet outside the Lund C trainstation at 9 am to buy tickets  – good if you have a charged jojocard in advance (like 200 SKr, if you have studentcard for the region of Skåne 90 SKR) . Train leaves at 9.22. Still more people who want to join? – well give me a call tonight. yours brother Björn

Read and talk: the Gospel of Luke

This Monday Feb 8th at 7 pm   we´ll read the  Gospel of Luke and talk about it. We could do this 2nd and 4th Monday/month if you want. We´ll have an English Bibletext (distibuted to each one), but bring also a Bible in your own language, if you got one. Just read and talk: What do I not understand? What is it all about? What does it tell me?  Listen to the others also, contact Verena for questions and suggestions.

Foodcollection for homless people in Lund

hi, this Saturday Feb 7th we will do a Foodcollection for homeless outside Malmborgs ICA, gathering at 11 am, just come or tell Nestor – we´ll during that time about noon alsoprepare our Sunday lunch (Sunday 11.30am) at Sandgatan 8.
