Vi  läser under hösten några stycken ur den sydamerikanske munken Ernesto Cardenals bok Kärleken övergår allt – korta stycken med mycket innehåll, där de flesta kan känna igen något.

the Sacrement of Hospitality…

In the centre of the life of Jesus: the hospitality. Father Paolo, meeting with us at Sandgatan this Tuesday in January talked about the Sacrement of Hospitality. This is the practice of his community, Deir Mar Moussa in Syria: “We receive our families in a very special way, we receive friends in a very special ways, we receive the poor, the rich , the stranger, the ennemy in a very special way.” – Because practising hospitality is living the love of God and opens up and contributes to the kingdom of God, the future, the unknown unity. In the despice of the other, who is different from ourselves, like the Moslems in Europe today, their is a great risk, that of a genocide. Europe has experienced that before, not so long a go , with an other people… No, let´s practice hospitality, we had a very intereresting meeting with Father Paolo this evening, hopefully this leadss to many reflections and actions,  yours brother Björn
